Members of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA), in the presence of prosecutors and investigators of the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), stayed two days ago in the premises of the company “Srebrena Malina” company in Srebrenica, owned by Fikret Hodzic, one of the actors in the “Respirators” affair.
Prosecutors of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH and SIPA stayed at the company’s premises due to the investigation related to the procurement of 100 respirators from China, in which, in addition to Hodzic, Federal Prime Minister Fadil Novalic and Director of the Federal Civil Protection Administration Fahrudin Solak are also suspects, Oslobodenje news portal reports.
However, the prosecutors’ stay is connected to the Prosecution’s financial investigation into all the money flows of the suspects at the time of the procurement of the disputed respirators.
As it was unofficially confirmed for Avaz news portal from SIPA and the Prosecutor’s Office, the investigators were interested in the purpose for which the suspect Hodzic withdrew 100,000 BAM from the account of Privredna Banka in Sarajevo a few days after he was paid 10.5 million BAM for the purchase of respirators.
SIPA did not exclude any documents from this company, and that it exclusively asked for all receipts related to cash flows, because Hodzic told prosecutors during his testimony in SIPA that he raised 100,000 BAM to pay for the purchase of agricultural products.
