International Burch University will join a partnership to promote diversity and inclusion in business

The SoGal Foundation is the largest global nonprofit platform for diverse entrepreneurs and investors. Its mission is to close the diversity gap in entrepreneurship by providing educational resources and community to our global network of 100K+ diverse professionals. Moreover, it hosts a ton of events in the 40+ global chapters across 5 continents. Its recent LA Influencer Summit had 30+ prominent social media influencers and founders with 500K+ social media followings and an audience of 150+ attendees. Sarajevo representative of the SoGal Foundation Erna Šošević said:

“Our common goal is to organize events that bridge the education gap and that provides a deep dive into alternative and “nontraditional” forms of information and financing available to early founders. We want to bring together a community of people who have ideas and those who can help realize those ideas by forming, advising, mentoring, and funding.”

International Burch University will join other partners to promote diversity and inclusion in business in separate events this summer. The initiative will bring entrepreneurial-minded women from all over Bosnia and Herzegovina to network, learn, and develop their businesses.  All activity will culminate in early November at the IBU campus during a one- day conference with a professional women’s panel, a keynote speaker, a women-led startup companies panel, a startup exposition, and a pitching competition in the following categories:  idea stage, initial product stage and active businesses stage.
