Bosnia and Herzegovina draw with Italy in the UEFA A League of Nations

“A” national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina finished the match with the result of  1: 1 away in Florence against Italy in the match of the first round of Group 1 of the UEFA A League of Nations.

The home team entered the game more offensively, but two attempts by Insigne and one by Lorenzo Federico Chiese were not accurate.

Dusan Bajevic’s team did not use a good chance in the 27th minute, when Edin Visca shot over the goal. The Italians later tried to endanger the goal of Ibrahim Sehic over Andrea Belotti and Nicola Barelle, but the first half ended without goals.

Bosnia and Herzegovina gained the advantage in 57 minut, Visca took the corner, and in the Italian penalty area, Edin Dzeko manages best and sends the ball into the net.

He was assisted by Toni Sunjic. Stefano Sensi equalized for Italy in 67 minute. Hodzic hit Donnarumma with his head in the 70 minute. Gojak, Dzeko and Visca performed a good action in 83 ‘, but Donnarumma was stopped by Visca’s shot. In the 90’s, Muhamed Besic also missed a chance. The first appearances in the jersey of the national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina tonight were registered by Sinisa Sanicanin, Branimir Cipetic and Amir Hadziahmetović.

In the second match of the group, the Netherlands beat Poland 1: 0.
