Worrisome Number of Young People emigrated from Bosnia and Herzegovina

During 2019, 767 young people aged 18 to 30 emigrated from Bosnia and Herzegovina, more precisely from the territory of the Federation of BiH, while from January to June 30, 2020, 238 young people emigrated from the territory of FBiH, according to Raport.ba

The data are based on the records of residence and stay kept with the Agency for Identification Documents, Records and Data Exchange IDDEEA. During 2019, 187 young people aged 18 to 30 emigrated from Una-Sana Canton. The largest number of young people left Cazin, 40 of them, followed by 32 young people from Velika Kladusa, 30 young people from Sanski Most, 28 young people from Bosanska Krupa, and 26 from Bihac, 159 people emigrated from the Tuzla Canton, 22 from Tuzla, 21 from Kalesija, 27 from Zivinica and 15 from Teocak, 78 young people emigrated from the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton, while 32 young people from 18 to 30 people left Canton 10. A total of 43 young people emigrated from the West Herzegovina Canton, 15 from Posavski, 5 from Odzak, 9 from Orasje and one from Bosanski Samac, 77 young residents left Zenica-Doboj Canton, mostly from Tesanj, Zepce and Zavidovici, 83 young people emigrated from the Central Bosnia Canton, mostly from Travnik, Bugojno, Kiseljak and Vitez and Jajce, 93 young people left Sarajevo.

From January 1 to June 30, 2020, 238 young people aged 18 to 30 left the Federation.
