17 BiH karatekas at European Karate Championship

karateKarate team of BiH will participate from 9 to 12 May at the 48 European Championship in Budapest, reports Oslobođenje.

Managers of BIH team Miroslav Klepić and Denis Muhović, 17 karatekas will represent BiH.

In the category of men: Edin Muslić (up to 60 kg,), Suad Tabaković (up to 67 kg), Nermin Potur (up to 75 kg), Alem Kupusović (up to 84 kg), Admir Zukan (+84 kg) will compete

Also, Meris Muhović, Haris Skrijelj, Haris Sujković, Oliver Mandarić and Damir Zadro will participate in team fights.

In the category of women: Una Halilagić (up to 50 kg, KK Bosna, Sarajevo), Iva Klepić (up to 55 kg, KK Neretva, Mostar), Mirsada  Suljkanović (up to 61 kg, KK Tuzla Sinbra), Amela Fazlić (up to 68 kg, KK Tuzla Sinbra), Tanja Umičević (+ 68 kg, KK Bosna, Sarajevo) will compete, together with Lana Džidić and Marija Šušac in team fights.

At the last Championship which was held in Spain, BiH karatekas won the bronze medal in team fights.
