Incomplete Remains of at least two Victims of the Past War found in Zavidovici

Incomplete remains of at least two victims of the past war were found during an exhumation that ended yesterday at the Gostovic site, Kamenica, in the Zavidovici municipality.

Based on information from the Institute for Missing Persons (INO) of BiH, it is presumed that these are victims of Serbian nationality from the Vozuca area who went missing in 1995.

After the exhumation, the remains will be transferred to Gradska groblja Banja Luka for forensic and forensic processing, as well as bone marrow removal, and in order to determine the identity of the found victims with the help of DNA method – is stated by the INO BiH.

The exhumation was led by the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH, by order of the Court of BiH, and representatives of the Institute for Missing Persons (INO) of BiH, forensic expert, necessary workers with the use of adequate mechanization, SIPA police officers and PS Zavidovici participated in the process of searching and exhuming the remains.
