17th International Festival of Small Stages and Monodramas

Tomorrow begins the 17th International Festival of Small Stages and Monodramas at the Cultural Center of East Sarajevo. The director of the Cultural Center of East Sarajevo, Nedeljko Zelenović said that there will be four dramas and four monodramas in the official competition of the festival.

He said that the audience will have the opportunity to watch monodramas such as: “Kabares Kabarei” by Zijah Sokolović, “Reče mi jedan čo’ek, ćeraćemo se još kad budem bio mlađi” by Petar Božović, who also plays in the monodrama entitled “Deset naprema jedan”, which is the project of the actress Tatjana Kecman and “Najposlije kraj” based on the text of Piter Turinij and directed by Blagoje Micevski, while the actor Aleksandar Kopanja will take the leading role in this monodrama.

In the competition of dramas, there will be ” Karljica smeha” performed by the actors of the ” Maska” group from Šabac, then ”Krivica” directed by Nikola Pejaković and performed by the actors of the National Theater of Republika Srpska. Besides these dramas, “Ne igraj na Engleze” will be performed by the actors of the City theater Gradiška and the drama ”Bunar” by the director Egon Savina. The festival will also give awards for the best drama, best monodrama, and also for the best female and male performance.

The opening of the festival is scheduled for tomorrow, 19:00 p.m.
