NATO Team for the Program of Improvement of Defense Education – DEEP is visiting the Ministry of Defense and the Armed Forces of BiH in the period from October 25 to 29, 2021.

DEEP Program Manager for Bosnia and Herzegovina Pavel Anastasov, on behalf of the NATO DEEP team, reported on the program of the visit, presented plans for the next period and identified areas and fields where significant involvement of the MoD and AF BiH is needed, and expressed NATO’s commitment to supporting the development and improvement of certain segments of this program in the defense institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the future.

It was pointed out that at the end of 2018, Bosnia and Herzegovina became a participant in the NATO DEEP (Defense Education Enhancement Program), which is focused on the revision of career non-commissioned officer courses, English language courses, and the revision of curricula and training of instructors.

This program is being implemented in accordance with the annual Action Plan starting in 2019, and this year’s one-week evaluation visit of the NATO team is led by Dr. Pavel Anastasov, Program Manager for Bosnia and Herzegovina from NATO Headquarters in Brussels.
