The 22nd Anniversary of the Massacre in Ferhadija Marked Today

ODATA POÈAST ZA 26 OSOBA KOJE SU PRIJE 22 GODINE POGINULE U FERHADIJIThe 22nd anniversary of the massacre in Ferhadija street is marked today by laying flowers and praying Fatiha.

22 years ago in the central Sarajevo street was thrown a grenade from the aggressors, which killed 26 people, who were waiting to buy bread. Images of murdered Sarajevo citizens traveled the world and the scary scenes were filmed by cameraman Dževad Čolaković, who passed away last year.

The delegation of Sarajevo Canton laid flowers at the massacre place in Ferhadija street, and the Cantonal Minister  Muamer Bandić addresses the people. Other delegations brought flowers as well. Members of the families of victims were present among the others.

Nedžad Abdija, Ismet Ašćerić, Ruždija Bektešević, Snježana Biloš, Predrag Bogdanović, Vladimir Bogunović, Vasva Čengić, Gordana Čeklić, Mirsad Fazlagić, Emina Karamustafić, Mediha Omerović, Bahrija Pilav, Mila Ruždić, Mile Ružić, Hatidža Salić, Galib Sinotić, Abdulah Sarajlić, Sulejman Sarajlić, Sreten Stamenović, Srećko Šiklić, Božica Trajeri – Pataki, Vlatko Tanacković, Srećko Tanasković, Tamara Vejzagić – Kostić, Jusuf Vladović and Izudin Zukić lost their lives in this massacre. We should never forget these names and this event.
