UNHCR DONIRAO OSNOVNE NAMIRNICE NAJUGROŽENIJIM PODRUÈJIMAUNHCR Representation of B&H has delivered basic supplies on Friday and Saturday for families, children and elderly people displaced due to floods in temporary shelters in five most critical municipalities Maglaj, Živinice, Bijeljina, Prijedor and Brčko.

Distribution of supplies worth 50.000 BAM as a modest contribution to the efforts currently invested by UN and international actors in B&H in the context of floods aimed to provide assistance to people that UNHCR and partners have already identified as priorities and who are are now facing a new disaster.

This is because these people as Internally Displaced People or minority returnees still face obstacles in places of residence and as such have not yet managed to find sustainable solutions, nearly 20 years after the war. Now a large number of them again lost everything, and they have to leave their homes, announced UNCHR.
