Prijedor Missing Persons Names prvapolitika.comOn the occasion of the International Day of Missing Persons, August 30th, The Association of women from Prijedor “Izvor” will set up an installation at the main town square in Prijedor which aims at drawing attention of the public on the problem of the missing citizens of this town.

The installation is intended for the citizens of Prijedor, the passers-by, but also for the family members and friends of the missing persons.

“Through this public event, we want to present to the public in Prijedor the names of all the residents that went missing in this town and its surroundings in the period from 1992 to 1995. The installation will also provide information about the largest mass graves found so far, from which the remains of the victims from Prijedor were exhumed”, the Association stated.

Acquaintances, relatives, and fellow citizens of the missing persons will have an opportunity to publicly send a personal message to those for whom it is being searched for 23 years now. The messages might also be directed towards the institutions responsible for (not) finding the missing persons.
