Today, the 30th anniversary of the closure of the infamous Sušica camp will be marked with the traditional Peace March from Turalić to Kladanj, Kladanj to Vlasenica. About 8,000 prisoners from the area of Vlasenica and Podrinje passed through the Sušica camp from June to September 1992. More than 2,000 Bosniaks were killed.

Dragan Nikolić was sentenced to 20 years in prison by the Hague Tribunal in early 2005 after pleading guilty to participating in the murders, rape and torture of Bosniak prisoners in the Sušica camp in Vlasenica in 1992.

In 2011, Predrag Bastah was sentenced before the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina to 22 years in prison for crimes in Vlasenica, and Goran Višković was sentenced to 18 years in prison with him.
