47 637 tourists visited FBIH in April

turisti_u_sarajevuDuring April 2013, 47 637 tourists visited FBiH, which is an increase of 12.5% in comparison to April 2012, and 33.9% increase in comparison to March 2013.

According to data of the FBiH Institute of Statistics, 27.7 % were tourists from BiH ,and 72.3 % from abroad.

Tourists had 86 524 overnight stays which is an increase of 17.4% in comparison to April 2012, and 36.9% in comparison to March 2013, and BiH tourists make up 26.5% and foreign 73.5%.

Most people spend their time in hotels, 97,3% and the structure of tourists who spend the most nights in FBIH is: Turkey -22.9%, Croatia- 15.7%, Italy 8.7%, Slovenia 7.8%, Serbia 5.8% which totals to 60.9%, and tourists from other countries account for 39.1% of overnight stays.

Number of available beds in April is 16 791 which is 22.8% increase in comparison to April 2012.

Net utilization rate of beds in FBiH was 17.2%.
