Over 500 Students Providing Assistance in Maglaj, Olovo, Zavidovići and Doboj

studentiColony of 11 buses with 550 students is travelling today to Maglaj, Olovo, Zavidovići and Doboj, in order to help citizens on these flooded areas.

President of Students’ Parliament of university in Sarajevo, Amar Nurković announced to Agency FENA that Students’ Parliament initiated an action of volunteering in cooperation with Centrotrans which donated busses and with Sarajevo municipality Old Town, which donated tools to local communities.

“Currently, the colony is addresses to these cities, it is staggered evenly, depending on the needs. In total 550 people is participating in action and the return is planned for 19:00 o’clock”, announced Nurković.

He added that students will engage in cleaning, helping, bringing of food and everything else what endangered people may need.

“Moreover, the action of gathering of necessities for endangered people was organized,” said Nurković, emphasizing that the help is transported with help of trucks and will be delivered as soon as possible.
