59,804 Tourist Arrivals recorded in February

The total number of tourist arrivals in February 2026 was 59,804, which is 7.4 percent less than in February 2025, and 16.4 percent less than in January 2026. The share of domestic tourists is 37.3 percent, and foreign tourists 62.7 percent, according to the FBiH Statistical Office.

The total number of tourist overnight stays in February 2026 was 117,700, which is six percent less than in February 2025, and 25.3 percent less than in January 2026. The share of domestic tourists is 34.7 percent, and foreign tourists 65.3 percent.

By type of accommodation facility, the largest number of overnight stays was achieved within the Hotels and similar accommodation type with a share of 95.8 percent.

In the structure of overnight stays of foreign tourists, the most overnight stays were recorded by tourists from Croatia (26.8 percent), Serbia (11.3 percent), Turkey (7.9 percent), China (6.1 percent) and Slovenia (5.7 percent), which is a total of 57.8 percent. Tourists from other countries recorded 42.2 percent of overnight stays.

The number of available beds in February 2026 was 29,235, which is 4.1 percent less than in February 2025. The net bed occupancy rate for the type Hotels and similar accommodation in the Federation of BiH was 16.1 percent.
