6 million BAM paid to Entrepreneurs who suffered Damage in the Floods

floods2Ministry of Finance of Republic of Srpska (RS) paid 6 million BAM to entrepreneurs from the Doboj area who have suffered damage caused by last year’s floods in May.

Decision on these funds to be paid out was made earlier by the Management Board of the Solidarity Fund in this entity, and the list of businesses that have suffered the damage and individual amounts to be paid to them was determined by Doboj Association of Businessmen “15th of May.”

“In an attempt to provide support to the other entrepreneurs who have suffered damage in last year’s floods as well, the Management Board of the Solidarity Fund will determine the amount of assistance in other communities in the RS in a similar manner”, as announced in the statement of the Ministry of Finance of RS.

The list of the business subjects and the paid amounts is available on the website of the Ministry of Finance.

On 19th of May in Doboj this year, was held the meeting at the initiative of the entity President Milorad Dodik, which was attended by businessmen and ministers from the Government of RS, as well as the Mayor of Doboj, Obren Petrović.

At the meeting was agreed to allocate assistance in the amount of 6 million BAM for businesses who have suffered damage from last year’s floods.
