100_zena“Mountain Association of Sarajevo Canton in cooperation with Sarajevo Mountain Guides organizes for the first time the event titled “100 women on Trebević”, on the occasion of International Women’s Day and 30th anniversary of Olympic Games in Sarajevo”, said for Agency Fena the Head of Sarajevo Mountain Guides Davor Ciganković.

The aim of this event is the promotion of mountain hiking and Trebević mountain visiting, once the most favorite mountains for all Sarajevo people, said Ciganković who added that this event has a mountain-recreational character.

Hasna Smječanin, Alma Jašarević and Sanja Korać will lead the hikers all the way up to the top of Trebević (Sofe -1.629 m above the sea level).

International Women’s Day in Croatia will be celebrated by climbing the highest peak of the mountain Mosor above Split and is titled “100 women on the top of Mosor”, and this event is organized for the first time in 1974. 8 March in Slovenia will be celebrated by the event “100 women on Triglav”.
