99 percent of planned Incentives in Agriculture implemented

13014793_1157422127642075_1232769719_nThe Government of FbiH yesterday adopted the Information on approved transfers for agriculture in accordance with the Program of expenditure of funds “Incentive for Agriculture” in 2015. Total value of the program amounted to 65.800.000 BAM, of which 65.151.173,61 BAM or 99.01 percent were implemented. The beneficiaries were agricultural producers, cooperatives, associations and institutions.

The program was implemented in cooperation with relevan cantonal ministries and agricultural inspections, agricultural institutes in Sarajevo and Mostar, with the Federal Administration for Inspection Issues and the Ministry of Finance of FbiH.

In 2015, a total of 82.507 requests for financial incentives were approved, of which 3.653 were for plant production, 78.796 for animal production, 18 requests for other incentives, and 40 percent in repeated proceedings on complaints and court verdicts.

In accordance with the Law on Financial Incentives in Agriculture and Rural Development, all incentives on federal nad cantonal levels were presented in one place, so the total amount of funds spent for these purposes in the FBiH last year was 80.435.956,23 BAM.

The Ministry of Agriculture, Water Management and Forestry of FBiH has been undertaking measures for ensuring monitoring and control of earmarked expenditure of funds for incentives and closely cooperating with the Federal Administration for Inspection Issues, delivering lists for controls to the inspection. The number of controls by the relevant cantonal inspection administrations, the Federal Administration for Inspection Issues and the Ministry of Agriculture, Water Management and Forestry of FBiH was intensified in 2015.

After yesterday’s discusssion, it was concluded that a theme session of the Government of FBiH dedicated to the state of agriculture will be held in May this year.
