This Friday, Sarajevo will become the capital of classical music since the 9th International Music Festival- BIMF starts, reports klix.ba
Festival will be opened by solo players from Zagreb who’ll have the concert in the Home of BiH Armed Forces at 8 p.m. on 7 June with their premier ‘Čekanje i Tišina’ by Zemira Masleša.
The second concert will be the concert of Ukrainian pianist Tetiana Shafran, who’ll perform works of Mozart, Ravel, Chopen, Plenevov and the third concert is the concert of American pianist Ursula Oppens who’ll perform Schumman and the ‘Memo V’ by Bernard Rands who supports the BIMF.
Children will also be able to enjoy the festival, because on 8 and 9 June , a music camp will be organised for children and renowned composers will teach children to write music.
Children will also be a part of the concert Tetiana Shafran, who’ll play ‘Sleeping Beauty’ for which children have prepared a choreography with little prince and little princess.
The festival will be held from 7 to 15 June and the entrance to all concerts is free.
