The famous Jablanica ”Granit” company, one of Herzegovina’s economic symbols known throughout Europe, is for sale, the bankruptcy trustee announced in a public advertisement for the sale of the company “Granit” d.d. Jablanica by the method of collecting written offers.
As stated in the public advertisement, the company “Granit” d.d. Jablanica is sold as a whole, with all the rights and obligations it has on the day of concluding the Agreement on the sale of the company.
100 years of tradition
The company has been engaged in the exploitation and processing of granite for almost 100 years and is one of the former giants of the Yugoslav industry, and buildings and squares all over Europe were built from Jablanica granite.
The exploitation of stone is carried out in the exploitation field in the Municipality of Jablanica, with a total area of 114.30 hectares.
Bankruptcy debts over 20 million BAM
The nominal amount of bankruptcy debts, debts of the bankruptcy estate and costs of bankruptcy proceedings, in accordance with the adopted Bankruptcy Plan, which should be settled from the purchase price, amounts to 20,533,813 BAM.
By implementing the bankruptcy plan, the buyer acquires 100 percent ownership of the company, and the right to participate in the sale procedure belongs to legal and natural persons who submit a written application no later than May 8th, 2023.
Bidders, in the name of participation in the sale procedure, are obliged to pay a deposit of 10 thousand BAM, to the giro account of the company number 1346-7310-0678-1461, or the same amount in foreign currency equivalent to BAM according to the middle exchange rate of the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) on payment day, to the company’s foreign currency account, SWIFT: IKBZBA2XXXX, IBAN CODE: BA39, account number 1342-0812-0010-5361, opened with ASA Bank d.d. Sarajevo, with the indication “Deposit for participation – according to the Public announcement for the sale of the company”.
Bidders who do not conclude the Agreement on the purchase and sale of the company will have the deposit paid back, Klix.ba reports.
