Madi Ltd. officially opened a long-announced slaughterhouse in the Industrial zone Tešanj, which is the result of several years of effort, commitment and systematic work.
The capacity of the slaughterhouse is 6,000 broilers per hour, which theoretically means that this slaughterhouse can produce approximately 24 million broilers per year. This makes it the slaughterhouse with the largest capacity on the Balkans.
“Besides the capacity, it has the modern equipment of that type which are sterile manufacturing processes brought to perfection, and as such offers better quality and more advanced finishing,” said Maid Jabandžić, commercial director in Madi d.o.o.
The total investment value amounts to 20 million BAM, out of which 14 million BAM was allocated on the slaughterhouse itself.
“It should be mentioned that within the company we own 110 vehicles in our driving fleet which make sure that all of our products are properly transported to our dear consumers. 15 doctors of veterinary medicine and 5 technologists, as well as the implemented standards, are a guarantee of high-quality products that are sold both on the domestic market and neighboring countries where we export Madi products, “added Jabandžić.
According to the philosophy of the company, which is based on constant creation of new workplaces, with these expansions Madi has exceeded the number of 350 employees, and represents a company that creates and opens opportunities for new employees every month.
“It is very good to know that the existing equipment will strengthen the leading position of the company Madi in the production of fresh and frozen chicken in B&H, and to improve the quality of the final product, which is guaranteed by the number of 11 million fattened broilers that we are planning to produce in 2015, “said Jabandžić.
