On Saturday morning, at Dolac Malta in Sarajevo, a big fire destroyed the barracks where a family of six lives.

They were visited yesterday by Dervo Sejdic, president of the Association Kali Sara – Roma Information Center, saying that fortunately there were no human casualties.

“Ancillary buildings and part of the apartment of Ismet Tahirovic‘s family of six burned down. On this occasion, there was also damage to the surrounding residential buildings, fortunately minor material damage. I am currently trying to contact the authorities to provide the necessary accommodation for the Tahirovic family,” stated Sejdic.

Yesterday, the municipal head Hasan Tanovic, together with his colleagues from the Civil Protection Service, visited the locality and spoke with the families who used these facilities, and one family also lived in one of the facilities.

“Alternative accommodation will be provided for this six-member family,” noted Chief Tanovic.

The Civil Protection Service immediately took measures, and through Cantonal Public Utility Company (KJKP) “RAD” provided the necessary machinery for clearing the site. The cause of the fire is still being determined, Klix.ba writes.
