Police officer initials M.R. (42) committed suicide this morning in front of the family home in Jablanica.
The information was confirmed for N1 by the spokesman of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, HNK Ljudevit Marić.
“The suicide was committed with a gun, and we received the report at 8:05 this morning. It was reported by a woman, most likely the mother,” Marić told N1.
He also added that it is still unknown whether it is an official gun.
The police officer worked at the Jablanica police station, which is part of the Konjic police station.
The motive for the suicide is currently unknown.
