A promotion of the book “The Methodology of Scientific Work” (“Metodologija znanstvenog rada”), whose author is a distinguished professor Slavo Kukić, was held today at the Academy of Science and Arts in Sarajevo.
“I was motivated to write this book not only by the fact that methodology is my field of interest for 20 years now, but also by the belief that we are handicapped with methodology, not only in Bosnia and Herzegovina, but in the whole region. It seemed to be that it would be a sin not to share with the students that resource which I possess”, said Kukić.
He pointed out that the time will show to what extent his book was successful and that he is giving time to the scientific critique to express judgment about this work.
Miloš Trifković, the president of the Academy of Sciences and Arts of Bosnia and Herzegovina, said that this book made a great contribution to the development of science, responding to the issues that are of great importance for its development.
The reviewers of the book, Srđan Vukadinović and Damir Kukić, said that this book is interesting for all those who are interested in the research process in terms of methodology, and that through it they can gain the insight into the quality framework of the scientific work.
“These are the paths leading into the value system through nine chapters. In the book, Kukić demonstrated new methods which make it possible to enter the research area”, says Vukadinović.
So far, alone or as a co-author, Kukić published dozens of books, manuals, studies and researches.
