Japanese Scholarships wikimedia.orgThe Government of Japan announced that it is offering four scholarship programs for students from Bosnia and Herzegovina who wish to study at select Japanese universities. The scholarships are offered on behalf of part of the promotional MEXT (Ministry of Education and Science) scholarship programs.

Applications must be sent via mail, or delivered directly to the Embassy of Japan in B&H. The deadline for the submission of applications is June 5th, 2015. The scholarship programs for 2016 include four categories: student research, undergraduate, students studying science and technology, and professional training for university students.

Regardless of which program is chosen, applicants must be willing to learn the Japanese language, and work to strengthen relations between their country and Japan, after graduating in Japan.
