The police officers of the Police Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Tuzla Canton, acting according to the orders of the municipal courts, and according to the previously created Operational Plan for the implementation of joint measures and actions to prevent, detect and identify the perpetrators of criminal acts, on February 20 and 21, carried out an operational action in several locations in the area of Tuzla Canton.

“It is about a two-day police action carried out at eleven locations, which included persons of interest to security in the area of Tuzla, Lukavac, Srebrenik, Gračanica and Gradačac”, according to the TC Police Administration.

In the action, items were found and temporarily confiscated that are linked to the crimes of illegal possession of weapons and explosive substances, aggravated theft, theft, illegal trade and unauthorized production and distribution of narcotic drugs: a large amount of weapons, ammunition, explosives, cigarettes, technical devices, and a certain amount of substances that, by their appearance, are associated with narcotic drugs (which were submitted to the Cantonal Prosecutor’s Office of the TC for expert examination), as well as other items that can be used as evidence in later proceedings.

The Cantonal Prosecutor’s Office of the Tuzla Canton was informed about the implemented activities, to which, after completing the case and documenting the criminal acts, appropriate reports will be submitted against several persons.
