The investigation into the terrorist attack in Paris in 2015 is conducted against three citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina, was confirmed for Klix.ba at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of BiH.

A citizen of Bosnia and Herzegovina Adis Abaz was arrested in the action of the German police because of the connection with the terrorist attack in Paris in 2015. Abaz was arrested by the Belgian police officer eight days ago in the German city of Dresden, and he should soon be extradited to Belgium.

On this occasion, Klix.ba news portal requested from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of BiH official information related to this case. As they said, the BiH Embassy in Berlin on 28thJune 2019 received official information from the competent State Prosecutor’s Office in Dresden that on the basis of the European arrest warrant issued by the Basic Investigative Court in Brussels, the Kingdom of Belgium, one BiH citizen was arrested in Germany on 20th June 2019 at 1:48 PM.

“The same information indicates that the person is in custody in the detention unit in Hale, Germany, where he will stay until the decision on extradition to the competent authorities of Belgium”, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of BiH.

According to the State Prosecutor’s Office in Dresden, the European arrest warrant is issued due to the suspicion that the named person is linked to the activities of the terrorist group responsible for terrorist attacks in Paris on 13 November 2015, which took place at the concert hall “Bataclan”.
