A Lifeless Body found in the Drina River near Zvornik

The body of a man, most likely of Afro-Asian origin, was found in the Drina river today in the town of Čelopek near Zvornik, the Zvornik Police Department announced.

It was reported to the Zvornik police station last night around 19:00 that the body of a man was found in Drina river.

The police went to the field with members of the Zvornik Professional Fire and Rescue Unit and during the investigation determined that it was most likely a person of Afro-Asian origin.

The disappearance of this person in Drina river was reported to the police on September 8 by his brother.

After completing the case, the police will submit a report on the measures and actions taken to the competent prosecutor’s office.
