The story of a girl from Kakanj, who is in life-threatening condition after surgery in the private clinic “Bejtovic“, which was rented by the private health institution “Halimic“, after which girl was brought to the Sarajevo University Clinical Center (KCUS), where they are still fighting for her life, shocked many.

The parents of a girl who had eyelid surgery and got implanted plastic, which her body did not accept, say that the plastic should have been removed in a private institution in Sarajevo, but that her brain failed to withstand anesthesia and that the operation was performed in a rented space.

“When we brought our girl, she was on her feet. After an hour and a half, we saw people coming in and out and something was happening. I told my husband that something was wrong, he said someone was probably pulling a tooth because it was a dental office. We didn’t even know it was a dental office. The ambulance came, I got out of the car, everyone was running, they were lost, they said that the child was fine and that everything would be alright. Dr. Nina Jovanovic explained that the surgery was successfully completed and that at the time of waking up, the girl‘s heart stopped beating and she lost oxygen. She entered that room with her feet.. ” told the visibly shaken mother of the girl from Kakanj.

They pointed out that after that the girl was transported to KCUS, where she is still in a severe coma, and that no one knows how it happened.

“She had a blood sugar of 34, and she used to be completely healthy,” the mother added.

They were especially worried that the police received an order to withdraw from the field and that this event could wait. Until today, as they said, they have not received any explanation.

The mother emphasized that Suad Rozajac was the anesthesiologist, who was asked what he had given the girl, and he replied that he did not know.

“We asked him what was happening and what he gave her. He noted that he did not know what was happening, that her heart stopped, that they brought her back to life twice…” said the mother in an interview for Kakanjinfo.com.

The girl is still not showing any change and progress.

“She will be on the machines until the last second, all her brain cells have been destroyed… When her heart stops beating, the devices will be turned off,” the girl’s father said.

The little girl is still in a serious condition and it is unknown what happened and who will be responsible for all of this.
