A plane with 30,000 vaccines donated to Bosnia and Herzegovina by Turkey landed at Sarajevo International Airport today. The donation was received at the airport by representatives of the BiH Ministries of Civil Affairs, representatives of the Turkish Embassy and Selmo Cikotic on behalf of the BiH Council of Ministers.

On behalf of the Chairman of the Presidency of BiH, Milorad Dodik, his advisor Bosko Tomic also appeared at the airport.

After customs clearance, the donation should be sent to the central warehouse in Mostar, and then to the end users, the competent authorities of the entities and the Brcko District.

The method of distribution will be determined by the BiH Council of Ministers. The news about the donation of 30,000 vaccines to BiH was announced by the President of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, after the meeting with the members of the Presidency of BiH in Ankara, on March 16. This is the first time that Turkey has donated vaccines to other country, BHRT writes.
