A protest against the Pride Parade is being held in Sarajevo

A protest against the third Pride Parade began in Sarajevo, organized by the “Iskorak” Initiative and the Faith, People and State party.

The protest is being held in the city center, in front of the Eternal Flame.

They believe that this endangers, as previously stated, traditional values. The initiative pointed out in a Facebook call for protest, among other things: “Don’t give them your children! Join us and raise your voice!”.

They also protested during the first Pride Parade, which was held in the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina in 2019.

At that time, they expressed dissatisfaction in the settlement of Ciglane. There were more than a hundred people, who emphasized that “it is a shame what is happening in Sarajevo.”
Last year, the second Pride Parade was not massive due to the coronavirus pandemic. Today is secured by a large number of police officers and additional security measures are in place, Klix.ba writes.
