The fire at the site above Komadinovo Vrelo in the municipality of Jablanica is still active, and as it is a very inaccessible terrain, a request was sent to the Ministry of Security of Bosnia and Herzegovina for international assistance in extinguishing fires from the air by hiring Air-tractors and helicopters from other countries.

The engagement of EUFOR helicopters was also requested because the wildfire is in inaccessible terrain and possible evacuation of the injured from the terrain endangered by the fire.

In the area of the municipality of Jablanica, the state of natural disaster caused by large forest fires is in force, which was declared on Friday, 13 August.

There is also an active fire in the area of Stupiste and Derana, in the municipality of Stolac. Burning grass, low and high vegetation. Part of the fire is inaccessible, so it is impossible to put it out.

However, the fire does not threaten the population and facilities, and members of the Stolac DVD and the local population are on the ground. Members of PVP Čapljina and PVP Neum are also helping today.

The fire, which broke out on August 12 at 9:30 pm in Bogodol, near Mostar, is also active, with grass and low vegetation burning. Firefighters are on the scene.

Firefighters are also monitoring the fire in Budisavina, in the municipality of Capljina, which is in a suspicious minefield, it was announced
