According to the Prosecutor’s Office of Canton Sarajevo, during the operation “Surgeon” and the search in the General Hospital “Prim.dr. Abdulah Nakas” four employees were arrested, including three Dr. H.P., E.B., D.Đ. and a nurse with initials E.H.
“After criminal prosecution, arrested persons will be handed over to the jurisdiction of the Cantonal Prosecutor’s Office of Canton Sarajevo. They are suspected of taking money from healthcare providers for the past period,” said Azra Bavcic, the spokesperson of the Prosecutor’s Office of the CS in a press release.
They are also charged with the criminal offense of Abuse of Position and Authority.
