The Generation of Gazi Husrev-bey’s Madrassah in 1951 and 1959 this year celebrates the 60th anniversary of the graduation.

In the period from 1943 to 1970 this was the generation with the highest number of graduates. Among them were orientalists, economists, lawyers, professors, Hafiz, doctor of science, and some completed post-graduate studies and courses in the country and abroad.

One of the initiators of today’s meeting, Dzemal Fajic, previously organized the meetings of this generation as well.

“I’m a responsible person for our meeting for the 50th and 55th anniversaries, and I live in Ljubljana and I miss Sarajevo.” When I finished Medresah in 1959, we went to Ljubljana because it was the only way to study, ” Fajic said.

Bajro Agovic was retired four years ago in Podgorica. He completed Gazi Husrev-bey’s medressah in Sarajevo and then performed many functions within the Islamic Community in Montenegro.

His generation today marked 50 years since graduation, and as he said, he was delighted today’s meeting with generations of peers, Klix.ba news portal reports.
