Reactions continue after the scandal at the Embassy of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) in Washington on the occasion of the Day of the Armed Forces of BiH (AFBiH), and on this occasion, Ivica Puljic, a long-time correspondent of Al Jazeera from this city, annouced on Twitter.
”A scandal broke out at the BiH embassy in Washington on the occasion of the Day of the AFBiH, after, allegedly, Ambassador Bojan Vujic forbade some people to come because they ”disrespect the Republika Srpska (RS)”. The organizer sent invitations to the media, prominent members of the diaspora, and activists for BiH,” Puljic wrote then added:
”I do not know anything about this firsthand, but I know that, according to the organizer, I am neither a media nor a prominent member of the diaspora nor an activist for BiH because I did not receive an invitation. Thus, both the organizers and the ambassador wanted to see only those selected ones and suitable according to their standards,” Puljic stated.
The controversial event took place on December 7th, when a reception was held at the Embassy in Washington, Avaz reports.
