A taxi driver in Split charged two Italian women 550 euros for a 25-kilometer ride from the ferry port to the airport.
Croatian media write that the fraud happened last night, and that young Italian women entered the airport building crying.
The girls were crying and showing the bill that the taxi driver issued them for the 25-kilometer and half-hour drive.
After the ride, the taxi driver asked the girls for a card to pay for the ride.
The Italian women were advised to report the case to the police, writes “Dalmatinski Portal”.
