A three-month-old baby died on Thursday, February 22, at the Home for Children Without Parental Care in Sarajevo, Bjelave.
The MUP and Sarajevo Canton Prosecutor’s Office were immediately informed about the baby’s sudden death, which ordered an autopsy.
This information was confirmed for the portal “Avaza” by Samira Puzo, director of the children’s home in Bjelava.
“We cannot give you any answers at the moment until the official results of the autopsy come in,” director Puzo told Avaz.
To the statement that the police were immediately informed about everything, the director replied:
“Yes, all procedure was carried out according to what should be done.”
When asked if the baby was taken from its parents, Puzo said:
“I cannot give you such information. That is the responsibility of the Center for Social Work.”
