An expert team for exhumations is today in Brčko looking for the remains of victims of the past war in the yard of a private house located in the Meraje locality in Brčko, the spokeswoman for the Missing Persons Institute of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Emza Fazlić, confirmed for Anadolu news agency.

“According to the information we have, it is suspected that the remains of the two victims could be found in the well at this location,” said Fazlić.

She stated that today they are working on cleaning the well, which is seven meters deep, and so far, about two meters of the well have been unearthed.

“So far, no remains have been found, so the exhumation at this location will most likely continue tomorrow,” added Fazlić,  AA reports.
