The news about act of the Hague convict Slobodan Praljak are known to the whole world, and all foreign media are writing about how he was poisoned in the ICTY courtroom when his second-instance verdict was pronounced.

Everyone is shocked and they wonder how Praljak had brought a bottle with poison in the courtroom. The glass which he drank was preserved, and ambulance arrived. The trial is canceled and there is still no information about his health condition.

The media reported his statement, that was said when he shouted in court before he drank the fluid from the bottle. He said that he was not a war criminal. They also reminded of crimes that were committed by the “six-man” crimes controlled by Jadranko Prlic, for which they were convicted.

“Judge Carmel Agius quickly canceled the ICTY hearing. It was not immediately confirmed whether Praljak took the poison, and what is his health condition, “ writes The Sun.

Deutsche Welle reminds that Praljak was originally charged for destroying the Old Bridge in Mostar, but that today the Appeals Chamber emphasized the bridge was a legitimate military target, and that he was sentenced to 20 years in prison.
“Seventy-two-year-old Praljak was specifically charged with issuing an order to destroy the historic Ottoman bridge in Mostar from the 16th century, which was restored in 2004, “ DW recalled.
