Action Against Snakes in Sarajevo

zmijaThe most amount of snakes in Sarajevo are located on Dariva- Kozija Ćuprija, where there are fewer than last year as a result of the engagement of companies specializing in the removal of snakes, said to Fena Ibrahim Divović, manager of one of the companies that deals with the removal of snakes.

Thanks to resources from the municipality of Stari Grad amounting to 6.000 KM, employees of the company were in the field twice and it is planned that such actions would take place until the end of the summer.

Since the actions are being conducted in an area that is rocky where the river Miljacka is located, or the old path that is now converted into the Alley of the Ambassadors, this is fertile ground for snakes.
