OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAThis year’s program of marking 6 April, Day of City of Sarajevo, will be supplemented by compulsory activities in schools so that students could get to know the importance of the Day of the City of Sarajevo, with reference to the history and significant anniversaries.

It is anticipated that teachers in secondary schools are eminent citizens, winners of recognitions of the City of Sarajevo and others.

This supplementary program of marking 6 April was accepted at the proposal of the Committee for Social Affairs by the councilors as a session of the City Council of the City of Sarajevo.

The Mayor is responsible for the event of the Day of the City of Sarajevo, to plan to pay the funds in the budget of Sarajevo City directly to public institutions that offer services.

Councilors unanimously accepted the Program of marking this year’s 6 April, the Day of the City of Sarajevo.
