At today’s session in Mostar, the management of Public Enterprise (PE) Autocesta FBiH supplemented the business plan of PE Autocesta FBiH for the year 2023, which foresees the provision of additional funds in the amount of 30 million BAM for the construction of the Hranjen tunnel.
Also, a decision was made to provide BAM 10 million for the construction of the Mostar – Široki Brijeg expressway in a length of about 10 kilometers from own funds.
Also, in the Three-Year Business Plan, a total amount of 130 million BAM is foreseen for the Hranjen tunnel and 100 million BAM for the Mostar – Široki Brijeg expressway.
The business plan of PE Highways FBiH will be sent to the Supervisory Board and the Government of the Federation of BiH for approval, and the funds will be provided partly from regular revenues of PE Highways FBiH, and partly from regular transfers from the Budget of the Federation of BiH for the period of the next three years, which will be defined between the Government of the Federation of BiH and PE Autocesta FBiH.
For the next two years, the financing relations between PE Autocesta FBiH and the Government of the Federation of BiH will need to be harmonized.
With this approach, the construction time will be shortened to a period of three years, as estimated by the expert team of PE Autocesta FBiH, and financing will be easier considering the co-financing of PE Autocesta FBiH and transfers from the Government of the Federation of BiH.
