“Our Management, led by the general manager of Elektroprivreda HZ HB, has resigned,” confirmed Marija Buntić, head of the Corporate Communications Sector at Elektroprivreda HZ HB, in a statement to Fena.
She explained that the procedure is such that the resignation is submitted to the Supervisory Board of the company, which appoints the Management Board, and the Supervisory Board forwards the resignation to the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, which is the majority owner of Elektroprivreda HZ HB.
According to her, the Government can appoint acting directors, both general director and executive directors, that is, the Government gives prior approval to the acting directors, after which the Supervisory Board appoints those acting directors until the tender procedure is carried out.
When asked if there is a deadline by which the management of Elektroprivreda HZ HB should be elected, Buntić said that there is no deadline, but that this management will hold office until new acting officials are appointed.
Also, she emphasized that in any case the business of the company will not be called into question.
