The Director of the BiH Border Police, Mirko Kuprešaković, held a meeting on Tuesday with the head of the IOM (International Organization for Migration) mission and the regional coordinator for the Western Balkans, Laura Lungarotti, and her colleagues.

The two officials spoke about the migrant crisis and the current security situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Director Kuprešaković pointed out that cooperation with the International Organization for Migration (IOM) has been successful from the very beginning, especially regarding participation in training and projects organized and implemented by the IOM.

He also thanked the International Organization for Migration and IOM mission chief Laura Lungarotti for their continuous support and for recognizing the importance of strengthening the capacity of the BiH Border Police, which they have shown through their cooperation so far in the form of extremely significant donations to that police institution.
