12939152_1749020142001329_1350835744_nIf the City Administration of Tuzla accepts the initiative of the Association for the Development of Tourism BiH Futurist, a zip-line route could enrich the offer of complex of salt Pannonian lakes in the upcoming period.

It is adrenaline entertainment where visitors, secured with belt and vest, are sliding down a steel cable.

“We, as an association, offered the idea of setting a zip-line to the City Administration of Tuzla. This is ecological content that would work at least 10 months a year, and that will satisfy the needs of our tourists who enjoy the adrenaline, or sliding down a steel cable with safety equipment. They would pay for this satisfaction here, as they do everywhere else in the world,” said president of the association, Ivica Zizak.

Although it is a lot smaller length of route compared to other European cities that have this kind of adrenaline entertainment, Zizak emphasized that thorough this project, PU Pannonica Tuzla, would annually realize additional revenue of almost 50,000 BAM.

“Besides profit, zip-line would also allow the employment of 4 new persons. It would be shame for our next tourist season to collapse without this kind of facilities,” added Zizak.

For the realization of this idea, according to our source, about 50,000 BAM is needed.

“Zip-line route would be maximally safe. So, there is no fear that the cable with the capacity of six tones would break under the weight of man of, in average, 80 kilograms. Nowhere in the world happened that this cable broke, and it will not happen to us either,” emphasized Zizak.

Pannonian lakes as a tourist destination of Tuzla, and BiH as a whole, have great potential, and according to our source, they must not lag behind.

“The new tourist destination should offer something new in every season. If the relevant municipal service within the City Administration Tuzla issues a decision by which they want this kind of content on the complex, we as association are willing to cooperate because we have all the necessary information. We are willing to participate in the realization of this project because we have trained people for that,” stated Zizak.

Tuzla “salty taste oasis”, which has been visited by nearly 3 million guests since its opening, is located in the city center, only a few hundred meters from the city square.
