Dzeko Transfer oslobodjenje.baIn the following days, Edin Dzeko should travel to the capital of Italy in order to sign a contract with FC Roma, after this club negotiated with FC Manchester City the transfer fee of the BH national team player, in the amount of 20 million Euros.

According to the latest information coming from the British media, the transfer fee could increase to 23.5 million Euros in the coming period, depending on Dzeko’s performance in the coming seasons.

The leaders of City did not want to give up on these bonuses during negotiations that lasted for weeks. Also, they insisted that Roma pays as much of the total amount possible already in August, while the Italians wanted the payment to be made over the next three years.

Five-year contract for the captain of BH national team

In recent months, the directors of the City in charge of negotiations have demanded compensation of 27 million Euros, but ultimately decided to reduce the amount precisely because the consent of Rome to their conditions of payment execution, Eurosport reported.

By all odds, Dzeko will sign a five-year contract with Roma, and he will earn 4.5 million Euros per season. This annual salary of the captain of BH national team makes him one of the highest paid football players in Italy.

Leaving the City was inevitable for Dzeko. Although in previous years he had played 187 matches in total for the Citizens and scored 72 goals, during the last months he has become increasingly left out from the A team.

The new “Bosnian connection” in Roma

According to the Italian media, the fans of Roma are eagerly anticipating Dzeko’s arrival, and see a genuine reinforcement in him. The expectations of the team are that it finally wins the Scudetto in Italy, and thereby terminate the four-year domination of Juventus.

Special attention in the Italian media is also being devoted to Miralem Pjanic, Dzeko’s teammate from the national team, because it is expected that the new „Bosnian connection“ in Roma „disassembles“ the opposing defenses, both in Italy and in the Champions League.

Roma is not at rest at the transfer market, and in the coming days the arrival of the talented Egyptian Mohamed Salah is expected, behind whom is a successful season in Fiorentina and who should significantly reinforce the Roman team.
