A positive meeting was held in the last few days between the Italian first league team Atalanta and the agents of the BiH national team player Kerim Alajbegović, Italian transfer expert Nicolo Schira announced on X.
Schira claims that an agreement in principle has been reached on a contract until 2031. Atalanta is in talks with Bayer Leverkusen to sign the winger.
Kerim Alajbegović was born in Cologne on September 21, 2007. Last season he played as a winger for the Austrian club Red Bull Salzburg.
He started his career in Red Bull Salzburg, and before that he went through the youth ranks of the German clubs 1. FC Köln and Bayer 04 Leverkusen.
He made his debut for the senior national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina in 2025. At the World Cup, he scored a spectacular goal in the match against Qatar.
