Agreement on Reopening Ars Aevi Collection to the Public

Ars_AeviUnder the patronage of the Italian Embassy and in cooperation with the Ars Aevi Foundation, the FB&H Minister of Culture and Sport Salmir Kaplan, the Minister of Culture and Sport of Canton Sarajevo Ivica Šarić and Mayor of the City of Sarajevo Ivo Komšić, attended by representatives of municipalities Stari Grad, Centar, Novo Sarajevo and Novi Grad, an agreement will be signed today on the reopening of the Ars Aevi Collection to the public.

The inauguration of the collection is scheduled for 6 February on the premises of the Art Depo in Center Skenderija.

The sustainable opening of the area in Skenderija, reconstructed with funds from the Italian Cooperation, is the first step that, with the help of institutional and private partners, will bring to the construction of the Museum that was conceptually designed by Renzo Piano as a place of permanent residence of the Ars Aevi Collection.
