The Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina adopted the Report on the implementation of the Agreement on Sub-regional Arms Control (Annex 1B, Article IV of the General Framework Agreement for Peace in Bosnia and Herzegovina) and the work of the Sub-regional Consultative Commission in 2014.
The aim of the Agreement is the introduction of measures for regional stabilization and arms control, essential for creating a stable peace in the region, establishment of new forms of cooperation in the field of security, focusing on transparency and confidence and achieving balanced and stable defense force levels.
All relevant actors, according to the Report, have estimated that Bosnia and Herzegovina as well as other parties to the Agreement (Montenegro, Croatia and Serbia) successfully and professionally implement all obligations under the Agreement.
Bosnia and Herzegovina in 2014 successfully implemented all obligations in accordance with the provisions of the Agreement and the Action Plan, which is a concrete contribution in the process of building trust, security, strengthening stability and cooperation in the region.
The Presidency of BiH accepted the invitation of the President of the Republic of Slovenia extended to the members of the BiH Presidency to visit the Republic of Slovenia on 23 March.
The BiH Presidency supported the candidacy of the Republic of Austria, and the City of Vienna, as the seat of the Secretariat of the Arms Trade Treaty (ATT).
The Presidency made a Decision on acceptance of Amendment 2 to the Financing Agreement between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the European Commission, which refers to the horizontal program on nuclear safety and radiation protection within the Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance for 2011 and the Agreement on the establishment of international organization ST -EP (elimination of poverty through sustainable tourism).
The Presidency also reached the Decision to start the procedure for conducting negotiations in order to reach an agreement between Bosnia and Herzegovina and Australia on social security and the Decision to accept accession of the Principality of Andorra to the Hague Conference of Private International Law.
The Presidency adopted the Report of the Ministry of Justice on the work of the Commission of Pardons for the period January-December 2014, announced the Public Relations Office of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
