The Agreement between the US and BiH signed?

embassyThe Council of Ministers of BiH has accepted the Letter of Understanding on Law Enforcement between the Council of Ministers of BiH and the US Government, which is the implementing document of the earlier agreement signed between the US and BiH on economic, technical and related assistance for BiH.

Based on the Letter of understanding , the two countries will establish and support projects aimed at strengthening the rule of law in BiH, especially when it comes to the strengthening of the capacities of BiH in the fight against organized crime, corruption and terrorism.

For the implementation of the Letter of understanding , the US Government will provide funds in the amount of about 3.7 million USD in the next 5 years.

Ministry of Security will submit the Letter of understanding to the Presidency of BiH on further procedure in accordance with the Decision of the Presidency of BiH on conduct of the ministries of administrative organizations and other institutions of BiH when taking activities and starting procedures in the field of international relations that are aimed at international cooperation within their jurisdiction. For BH signatory was suggested the Minister of Security of BiH.
